Olga Priclová

I have been creating since I was a child. Like ceramics, making cotton bracelets under the school desk or sewing absurd outfits for my Barbie dolls. When I entered puberty, idleness came in. Fortunately, it didn’t take long and my need to decorate everything took over. So I decorated glass, textile or gingerbread cookies. I was aware of the work of Monika Brýdová and when she came up with polymer clay, I was immediately sure this is IT.
After a difficult start when I made jewellery as a one in a million, I started to specialize in technique Polymer Knitting, which I had the opportunity to teach, thanks to Monika Brýdová. I continued to make tiny and precise jewellery when I started to do polymer Embroidery and Embroidered Lace technique.
I strive to find my own way to find my style. I perceive the moment when someone recognizes your work without label as the top of creative work.
