Klára Alba Bartlová
I am the mother of a two year old wonderful son and we live in Prague. Although I am a student at the university and this year I will graduate in industrial law studies, my next great love is creating from polymer clay.
For me to create means to dream with my eyes open. Then I try to transfer those dreams and visions into polymer.
I play with different materials and have been trying to combine them in different ways since childhood, but only with polymer I found my voice my artistic home where I anchored and stayed to create.
I am absolutely devoured by it and yes, I’m a polymer “addict”. I spend my evenings by designing and creating. I have been lucky enough to learn from the world’s great artists such as Donna Kato, Kathleen Dustin, Jana Robert Benzon, Bettina Welker and many others.
I also love to teach classes and play with different polymer clay techniques that are in relation to scrapbooking.
I love hollow shapes, experimenting with materials and colours. Large size and significant colours and patterns mainly characterize my jewellery. I started to cooperate with a well-known fashion designer and I am preparing my first major exhibition of jewellery called “Jewels in the paintings.”
