Hana Auterská
I was born in Prague in 1977. The graduation from the Hotel school and the influence of my father, who won the gastronomic competitions around the world, changed my emotional perception of design and art. From 1998 to 2008 I owned a beauty salon and worked as a makeup artist and colour advisor. The colours influenced my life forever - whether indoors, outdoors, in the jewellery making and later also in creating from the polymer.
On maternity leave I started to make a jewellery cast in resin and my obsession with all sorts of findings was evolving. However, the demand was increasingly challenging. As I like to think about what I am doing while making jewellery, I started to be curious how could I make my own beads. Then I found polymer clay. The tremendous possibilities offered by this material captivated me.
I prefer organic style, which stems from the relation to nature, as well as romantic and Art Nouveau styles. I have been working with polymer clay for two and a half years now, and I think I have fallen in love forever.
